Congratulations to our April MVPs! We're proud of these amazing students and the work and character they show.

Our Vex team, the T-Vexz, took 1st place at the State competition (and set the record for the state in skills competition). They are now going on to compete at the world's largest Vex competition. In May, they will be competing with teams from around the world in Texas. They are raising money to help pay for airfare, hotel and registration fees.
Tonight is their fundraiser at the Zupas in Syracuse, from 4-9pm. Be sure to mention you are there for Buffalo Point.
Thanks!

March MVPs. Congratulations to these students of the month. We're so proud of all their efforts.

Thank you to Syracuse PD for helping us through a successful lockdown drill yesterday. They told us that we did the best of any school they've been to this year. That's what we like to hear about our little buffaloes.

Next week is our kindergarten registration. Please help us get the word out about kindergarten registration on February 28, 2:00 - 4:00. Bring the following: birth certificate, proof of immunizations, 2 proofs of residency, and $25 optional donation for snacks (cash, card, or check). Thanks!

Our third-grade DLI readers theater performed this week. Don't they look great?

Check out thismonth's MVPs. These students of the month were selected from each class by their teachers. We're very proud of them.

Salt Contemporary Dance came from an assembly on Monday. They taught students a few principles of dance and then got them moving. It was a great way to start the day and the week.

Each Friday second graders learned songs and dances. This week they were doing some fun dances like the Cupid Shuffle and Achy Breaky heart.

Fifth grade Super Bowl party! Thank you to teachers and parent volunteers for putting this fun activity together.

Just realized we missed posting our January MVPs. Here they are--we are proud of these students of the month.

Syracuse and West Point Families-
The application dual-language immersion is live for the upcoming school year. We are fortunate to have two dual-language immersion schools in our community. Syracuse Elementary offers Chinese, and Buffalo Point Elementary offers Spanish.
If your child will be a first-grader next year, we hope you’ll consider applying for dual-language immersion. Students entering higher grades may be eligible but must pass a language test. You can access the application and information about dual-language immersion here: https://www.davis.k12.ut.us/o/dsd/page/elementary-dual-language-immersion.

For the final day of second term, we enjoyed our annual sing-along. We appreciate Mrs. Olsen's talent at the piano. It was fun to have a couple of visitors, with Santa and the Grinch joining Chip the Buffalo. Some students went all out with their hair or attire in honor of Grinch day. Have a merry Christmas and a great holiday from Buffalo Point.

Were down to the final day of our holiday spirit countdown tomorrow. It's grinch day, so put on your green.

Thank you Zion's Bank Syracuse branch. Some of our students created ornaments for their branch Christmas tree. We got to go and decorate the tree. They also have a $100 donation to Buffalo Point.

Tomorrow is sweater day. Slip on your cozy sweater.

For Wednesday tomorrow, it's sports day. Show off your favorite team or wear your favorite jersey.
