We hope your first semester has been a wonderful one! Our counseling team is excited to help you prepare for the upcoming second semester. Please review the following information carefully before submitting a schedule change request.
Teacher Changes & Space Limitations
WPJH serves over 1,200 students, and class space is extremely limited.
Teacher changes cannot be accommodated due to the need to keep class sizes balanced.
The only exception is for students who were accidentally assigned a different teacher than they had during first semester. We will do our best to correct those situations.
Please also note staffing adjustments for second semester:
Katherine Arave will no longer be teaching 8th Grade English.
Andrea Middleton will no longer be teaching 7th Grade English.
Students who had these teachers first semester will automatically be assigned a new teacher for second semester.
New Course Options:
We have added new sections of the following courses:
Exploring Health Science (7th & 8th Grade Only)
School Newspaper (All Grades)
Word Processing (7th & 8th Grade Only)
If your student is interested in any of these classes, please indicate it on the schedule change form.
How to Request a Schedule Change
All second-semester schedule changes must be requested through the online form linked below:

Approved changes will appear in MyDSD by December 19. If the requested change cannot be accommodated or if additional information is needed, your student’s counselor will reach out by email or phone.
Schedule Change Fee:
A $10 fee will be applied to your student’s MyDSD account for a requested schedule change.
If a change cannot be processed or if it is required due to a school scheduling error, no fee will be charged.
