Fifth-grade students went on a field trip to the landfill, sewer district, and Weber Basin Water District. During their visit, they learned how water is treated, how recycling works, and how wastewater can be reused to generate power for the sewer plant and even be turned into compost—proving that no matter what goes down the drain it can come back in pretty amazing ways.
