This year, Sophomores and Juniors will not be required to turn in their laptops for the summer. If you would like to keep the laptop you currently have, you may.

Sophomores and juniors should turn in their laptops if any of the following situations apply:

1. You know you will be moving over the summer or think there is a chance of moving.

2. The device is not working well, and you want a different one. Please let us know of any problems the device has when returning it.

3. You don’t want to keep the device over the summer.

Seniors will turn their laptops in on Thursday and Friday, May 14th and 15th, outside the library as a part of cap and gown distribution. Seniors are required to turn in the laptop and charger before picking up their cap and gown.

When returning your laptop, please remember to bring the charging cable with it. The device will also need to be charged enough to turn on, so we can verify that it is still working. There will be a charge for missing chargers or damaged devices. The fee must be paid before you can get your cap and gown.

We understand that there may be reasons to turn your laptop in early or late. You can return the laptop at any time to the main office.

If you have purchased the optional device repair insurance, it will continue to be effective until August. If any damage occurs over the summer, you can bring the device into the main office for repairs. You will need to repurchase the insurance in August for the 2026-2027 school year.
