The SHS cheer teams competed at the USA Cheer Nationals competition and came away MAKING HISTORY! They represented our school so well and worked SO hard for this! For those not familiar with the cheer world... The success we had this weekend is incredibly rare. It was a 'CUSE weekend for sure!
Our entire squad took 3rd place in the nation out of 18 teams in our situational cheer routine (the first time in school history we have placed in this event).
Our Varsity Advanced squad took 2nd place in the nation in their show cheer routine- competing against the top 13 schools from around the country in their division.
Our Junior Varsity Advanced squad took 1st place in the nation in their show cheer routine coming away NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, for the first time in SHS History!
