We invite all parents and grandparents to join us for our Halloween Parade out on the track starting at 9:15 am on Friday. You do not need to check into the office before you go to the track area. If you are coming into the school to help with the parties, you will need to check in.

October - Kindness Matters - Kindness can make a BIG difference! This month, we’re challenging our Stewart students to look for ways to include others, stand up for what’s right, and make someone’s day a little brighter.

Here are the things you need to know for the week.

  1. This week we are celebrating Ribbon Week. Please refer to the flyer below. Monday - Wear Neon Tuesday - Wear your favorite hat Wednesday - Hair in fun and unique ways Thursday - PJ Day Friday - Halloween Costumes

  2. Please refer to the document below as you are choosing Halloween costumes for your children this year. If a student is wearing a costume that is not following the guidelines, they will be asked to change before participating.

  3. We are continuing to add to our Wall of Veterans to display during the month of November. Please see the information below on how to submit your pictures.

  4. Our PTA is conducting the Anti-Fundraiser Fundraiser during the month of October. Please see the details below. Stewart Givebacks

  7. Help our Stewart Stars by creating a safe, fun and positive playground experience at recess. We are looking for someone to help monitor the playground for 3.25 hours a day. If interested, please contact Principal Yoho at myoho@dsdmail.net or call the school at 801-402-1850.

  8. If you have a teenager that is looking for part-time work, we are hiring an afterschool custodial staff member. Please have them reach out to Anna if they are interested.
