September — Effort Matters
How are we already to the end of September? Our students have worked so hard and we loved celebrating them at conferences last week. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked through the water situation yesterday. It was a group effort to get the water back on.
Here are the things you need to know for the week.

On Friday October 2, Stewart will be participating in the Statewide Read-A-Thon from 9-10 am. Students are invited to wear their comfy clothes and bring a blanket if they want.
On Wednesdays our Student Council has a store during lunch. They sell treats and stickers. Students are invited to bring money to participate if they want to. Treats are $1-$2. We ask students to not purchase treats for their friends and to not spend more than $10.
On Tuesday night is the PTA Spirit Night at Little Caesars. Come grab a pizza and support the PTA.

When coming to check out your student you will need your ID and your log in for myDSD. Parents will check out their students on the iPad while the office staff calls down to the classroom. Each parent has their own unique log in. This is another layer security that we appreciate your help with.
