Sand Springs Elementary is thrilled to welcome James Tomsik to our 6th grade team! Originally from Georgia, James brings a vibrant energy and a love for learning to our community. He has been married for two years and is a proud parent to an 11-month-old son—with another baby on the way this December! Their home is also filled with furry friends, including two dogs and two cats. In his free time, James enjoys hiking, running, paddle boarding, playing Magic the Gathering, building Gunpla, and gaming. A fan of the color lavender and a self-proclaimed pizza enthusiast, he also loves Cactus Cooler (second only to coffee!) and appreciates a refreshing glass of water. Though he enjoys meeting new people and exploring, he admits he's becoming more of a homebody as time goes on. Fun facts: James knows every zip code in northern Utah, his 5th grade class once made the news, and he's deeply proud of his Mexican heritage through his mother. We’re excited to have him join the Sand Springs family!
