Yearbooks are for sale on myDSD this week 4/16 - 4/18 for $18 each. Please make separate purchases for each student.
Starting on 4/21 the price for yearbooks will go up to $25 a piece. Get them at the discount price! You can go onto your myDSD history of payments to see if you purchased a yearbook already.

Bus driver/assistant appreciation day is Tuesday, April 22. Morgan Elementary spent Hope Week showing how we can "Be a Light" by donating to our Cereal Drive for Mountain High Teen Center food pantry. We are "Cereal-sly" extending our Cereal Drive to one more week after Spring Break. Thank you for all the donations so far!
Morgan Elementary's Jr. Hope Squad presents Hope Week - Be a Light
When: March 24 - 28th
Donate a box of cereal for our cereal drive for the Davis School District Teen Centers. Donations boxes are outside the office in the hallway. Each day will have different activities and things students can wear to show how they can BE A LIGHT!
Monday - wear white to be a Light of Hope
Tuesday - hats and sunglasses to show your Future is Bright with Hope
Wednesday - Wear green/spirit shirts to show your School Spirit of Hope
Thursday - Wear college gear or camouflage to show your Hope in a Great Future
Friday - Wear bright neon to show your Might on the Dance Floor - black light dance party!
Decathlon Tryouts for 4th-6th Grade students.
When: Wednesday, March 26th 3:30 - 4:30pm here at the school.
Parents are welcome to stay, watch, and/or help.
One parent volunteer is needed to time the students on the outside track for the 200 Meter Dash. If you are able to volunteer please email the P.E. teacher, Mrs. Dewsnup at kdewsnup@dsdmail.net.

Thank you to our PTA for a great Reading Week and Book Fair!
Congratulations to our Vex Robotics Team for winning their last competition! They will be going on to the State Competition! We wish them luck on their next competition.
Did you know that each year our PTA holds a fundraiser to help pay for our Field Trip buses for our students? This happens during our Fall Fest, and that money is used for the following year's budget. Usually, we get enough donations from this event that PTA can donate enough money to the school to cover the cost of one field trip bus for each grade level. This year we did not receive enough donations, so we are asking for everyone to "Show the Love" for the month of February so we can have money to pay for buses for the remainder of the year and have funds for Field Day as well. We have already had to cancel several of our annual events that PTA hosts for our community due to lack of funds. So, Sam Morgan Elementary community, we ask you to "SHOW THE LOVE!"
