Our first graders delighted families and students last week with a charming performance of The Wide Mouth Frog, a traditional African folk tale about a curious frog who loves asking other animals what they eat.
Dressed in colorful costumes, the students took turns playing animals such as monkeys, lions, crocodiles, elephants, and of course the wide-mouthed frog themselves. The play featured songs, laughter, and plenty of big smiles from the young performers.
A huge thank you to our first grade teachers, Mrs. Van Orman and Mrs. Sims for all the hard work and dedication they put into our students.
