For us to be most effective in collecting devices as we end the school year, please do the following: 1. Make sure you have your school issued device and power cord. Both items should be marked with the Student’s ID in the form of a label on both the laptop and charger. Failure to turn one or both in will result in a fine for replacement. As a reminder, A Protection plan purchase will not cover items not returned. ***$373 for entire laptop/charger combo ***$31 for missing chargers. We will not accept any other charger, so please have the correct one issued. See picture for reference. We currently have two models of devices. Lenovo Non-touch and Lenovo Touch 2. Make sure your device is fully charged and powered on for inspection that day. Students will be required to show the internal screen, show how the keyboard and track pad work, which will require a charged device. 3. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will result in a repair fine. Those fines will be placed in the myDSD portal. It may take a few days before all machines have the final assessment and fines loaded. Please be aware and encourage student responsibility to help cover those costs. If you purchased insurance, you will have a co-pay. If you did not purchase insurance, you will be billed the full repair cost. 4. Should you be unable to attend on May 15th & 16th we strongly encourage you to turn your device in PRIOR to that day. That can be done by taking the device directly to the KJH library where it will be inspected and checked in.

Please read through the instructions listed to avoid any unnecessary fines. If your student will not be at school on the device return days, we strongly encourage they return their laptop prior to May 15 or 16th.
