StorytellingFestival
This week, Foxboro Elementary held our Storytelling Festival for 1st through 6th grade students.
Each year, Davis School District participates in a district wide competition, and the winners attend and participate in Weber State's Annual Storytelling Festival in February.
Foxboro students worked hard and practiced retelling a story using specific story elements, using different voices and expressions and refining their public speaking skills. A big thanks for our DEEP teacher, Miss Souther, for helping our students be a part of this event.
Our school winners, that will all participate in the Davis District Competition are: 1st grades Arthur and Winnie, 2nd graders Claire and Maude, 3rd graders Rebecca and Sabreen, 4th graders Ashley and Grayson, 5th graders Ailed and Elisabeth and 6th graders Daniel and Max! Congratulations to all!
