Christopher Thomas, our administrative intern, is excited to be a Falcon because of the amazing school spirit Clearfield brings to every event! His favorite college football team is the University of Utah. He loves Peanut M&M’s and Dr. Pepper. When he’s not at school, he enjoys spending time with his kids. A fun fact about Mr. Thomas is he is good at archery!


Wendy Marland, one of our new assistant principals, is excited to be a Falcon because she has heard Clearfield is the greatest school in Davis County and is so excited to be part of it all! Her favorite college football team is Tennessee. Her favorite treat is Reese’s cups and her favorite drink is Caffeine Fee Diet Coke. When she’s not in school, Wendy loves to go camping with her husband. A fun fact about Mrs. Marland is she has 2 older brothers, and is the only girl. She has four children, three boys and a girl, ranging in ages from 25 to 19.


Jordan Loo, one of our new assistant principals, is excited to be a Falcon because he loves the school spirit and traditions here! His favorite college football team is Utah…Go UTES! His favorite candy bar is Twix, and Fruit Punch is his jam. He enjoys riding his motorcycle, gaming, golfing, and destroying his children in board games! A fun fact about Mr. Loo is he has a twin, his wife has a twin and they have twin boys!


Diana Johanson a.k.a. Jo, as she loves to be addressed, is excited to be a Falcon because Clearfield High is the best school in the universe. Every year she loves CHS more and more. The Falcons are the best! Her favorite college football team is UVA. She loves Chocolate Covered Cinnamon Bears and Coffee. When Jo is not at school, she loves going to the movies and hanging out with friends. A fun fact about Jo, is she loves scary movies and true crime documentaries.


Tj Barker is our new principal! He’s excited to be a falcon because Falcons are Fabulous and we have an unmatched culture, climate, and school spirit here at Clearfield! His favorite college football teams are BYU and Utah. He grew up a fan and went to BYU games with Steve Young. He did his undergraduate program at Utah and Kyle Wittingham was his parents’ neighbor. Mr. Barker’s favorite candy bar is Watchamacallit and favorite drink is Orange Gatorade. When he’s not at school, he loves hanging out with his family. A fun fact about Mr. Barker is he’s a big fan of hiking, and loves nature, particularly trees.


One of our students, Conner, captured this beautiful image of the sun shining through the clouds. At Clearfield, we offer light to those on gloomy days. One of those ways is through our Mindful Center, offering students a safe space to destress, and participate in various practices of mental wellness.



Mrs. Wilkes' AP World History class enjoyed a fun Poetry for Neanderthals for vocabulary review! Our teachers provide a wonderful blend of fun and constructive learning!




Mr. Handy's English 10 class is studying The Fall of the House of Usher. Students had the opportunity for some creative learning, pulling details and evidence from the story and bringing it to life using play dough and Legos!








Attention all SENIORS! Thursday, September 4th, Jostens will be here to help you prep for graduation. Please plan to attend the assembly during intervention.


Our seniors are setting the tone in English class with the lights off, flashlights illuminating the pages as they read Beowulf, an epic poem recounting Beowulf's battles against monsters.


Join us in the library each day after school from 2:30 - 5:00 pm! Create friendships, work on homework, play games and enjoy a snack!
