The Counseling Center continues to be busy with PCCRs during the month of March. Our counselors will be holding 8th grade PCCRs. Counselors will meet with each student and their parent for about 30 minutes. When appointments open, you will receive an email with directions on how to set up an appointment through the myDSD system. If there is not a date and/or time that will work for you, please call the Counseling Center at 801-402-0107 to schedule a convenient time. It is our goal to meet with as many parents as we can.
9TH GRADE PCCRs:
We like to meet at this time so students are ready for high school registration which occurs in January. This is what will take place during our PCCR appointments:
We review the student's grades, credits, and goals.
We discuss career options and courses that support those career choices.
We begin discussing college requirements.
We share helpful websites.
We provide information on scholarship opportunities.
This PCCR is a critical meeting to ensure students are on track for their sophomore year of high school.
