End of term with smiley face

We’re already nearing the halfway point of the school year! Second term ends on December 19, and report cards will be available the first Friday after we return from winter break, January 9.

With the year moving quickly, this is a great time to revisit the importance of regular school attendance. This year, our school has made attendance a key focus, working to improve communication with families and ensure that consistent attendance remains a priority for all students.

Why does attendance matter so much? Studies show that students who miss just two days per month—even when absences are excused—are more likely to fall behind academically. Good attendance helps students build strong routines, stay connected with their teachers and peers, and feel confident in their learning. By working together, we can help ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Thank you for your continued support in helping students show up, stay engaged, and finish the year strong!
