Bountiful Elementary offers free summer learning program from June 16th to July 2nd

Bountiful Elementary is offering a free Summer Learning Program for students currently in grades K–5.

This three-week program gives students a chance to build skills, try new activities, and stay connected to learning in a fun, supportive setting. The program will run from 8:30–11:30 a.m. on the following dates:

  • Week 1: June 16–18

  • Week 2: June 22–25

  • Week 3: June 29–July 2

Please note: Monday, June 15 is a state holiday, so classes will begin on Tuesday, June 16 during the first week.

Each day will include a mix of academic support and enrichment. Students will attend two enrichment classes and one Power Hour class focused on literacy and math. Classes will be organized by age level and taught by Bountiful Elementary teachers and staff.

Families will be able to choose their student’s top four enrichment class options on the registration form. Possible enrichment classes include:

  • Yoga/Fitness

  • Ukulele

  • Creative Arts

  • Beginning Spanish

  • Science Explorers

  • Mini Munchie Makers

  • Craft Making

  • Board Game Club

  • Computer Technology

  • Pickleball

  • Kiddie Ballet for grades 1–3

  • Dungeons & Dragons for grades 4–6

Students who register are signing up for the full three-week session. While occasional family conflicts may happen, families should plan for students to attend all three weeks of the program. Students will also be expected to follow Bountiful Elementary’s PAWS Bobcat Behavior Expectations while attending.

To register, families should complete the Summer Learning Program registration form and return it to their child’s teacher or the school office by May 22.

Questions may be directed to Jeni Hall at jehall@dsdmail.net.

We are excited to offer students a summer opportunity that blends reading, math, creativity, movement, teamwork, and fun right here at Bountiful Elementary.
