A new home for the Bobcats.

Last night, Bountiful Elementary celebrated the grand opening of its new building with a ribbon cutting and Back-to-School Night.

The evening began with a warm welcome from Principal Casey Pickett, followed by the Northridge High School AFJROTC Honor Guard Team posting the colors. Guests heard from Superintendent Dr. Dan Linford, Board of Education member Alisa Mercer, Bountiful Mayor Kendalyn Harris, and a Bountiful Elementary student.

The countdown was led by Principal Pickett, and—together with students—she cut the ribbon to officially open the new school. After closing remarks from Administrative Intern Christine Nesheiwat, families explored the building, visited classrooms and met teachers.

We are grateful to Davis County Voters for approving the 2022 "Building Generations" bond, which made this rebuild possible.

School starts Monday, and the Bobcats are ready for an incredible year!
