Throughout September, Davis School District will join communities nationwide in recognizing Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and honoring the children, families and survivors impacted by pediatric cancer.
As part of this year's awareness efforts, the district will share stories of students and families from across Davis School District who have faced childhood cancer. These stories will highlight the courage, resilience and determination of young cancer warriors while helping our community better understand the challenges many families face during and after treatment.
Childhood cancer affects thousands of children and families each year. While every journey is unique, one thing remains constant: no child or family should face cancer alone. By sharing these local stories, the district hopes to increase awareness, encourage compassion and recognize the strength of students who continue learning, growing and thriving while navigating difficult circumstances.
Davis School District is also grateful for the local organizations that provide support, resources and hope to families affected by childhood cancer in our community.
