Three Davis School District educators have been recognized among Utah's outstanding education professionals as 2026 Show Up for Teachers Honors in Education honorees.
The district proudly congratulates:
Hollie Fisher, fourth-grade teacher at Lakeside Elementary
Amber McCord, administrative intern at Ellison Park Elementary
Ken Wright, English teacher at Syracuse High School
The educators were recognized during the annual Honors in Education Gala, held in conjunction with First Lady Abby Cox's Show Up for Teachers initiative. The event celebrates educators from across Utah whose leadership, service and commitment make a lasting impact on students, schools and their communities.
Although each serves in a different role, Fisher, McCord and Wright share a commitment to helping students succeed. Their dedication to learning, leadership and meaningful relationships reflects the excellence found throughout Davis School District.
