Davis Head Start recently brought the community together for its second annual Family Health & Wellness Fair at Davis Technical College. The event was open to all Davis County residents, with a special focus on Head Start and Davis School District families.
Families had access to free immunizations, health screenings, fluoride treatments and a variety of services focused on safety, nutrition and mental health. There was also free food and plenty of fun activities for kids, including an obstacle course, games and a prize wheel.
The fair gave families the chance to connect with local organizations, find resources and get support for healthy living. What started as a one-time event has now turned into a growing tradition, bringing schools, families and community partners together in a meaningful way.
