Meet Matt King, facility manager for the Davis School District offices in Farmington. With nearly three decades in the district, King is dedicated to creating a thriving environment.
Starting as a substitute custodian in 1996, King's journey has been one of passion and commitment. From part-time roles to head custodian at Bountiful Elementary, he has always loved his work and the people he serves. When the district office position opened, King eagerly applied for it.
King ensures district offices are presentable and functional. His day includes opening facilities, cleaning, inspecting buildings and delivering packages.
Beyond work, King loves music and repairing equipment for local bands. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology, he understands how to maintain productive and happy spaces.
