Technology Services
Mission and Vision
Technology Services facilitates Davis School District’s mission of “Learning First” by providing our community the highest quality and cost-effective technology-based services.
Technology Services exists to improve student learning by facilitating an environment that allows teachers to teach, students to learn, and parents to be engaged in that process. We represent Taxpayers, Elected School Board, and District Administration in out stewardship to provide tools and data to engage students and guide their individualized learning opportunities. The position of trust that we hold requires integrity, honesty, and a commitment to excellence. Each individual is encouraged to innovate by pursuing new, creative ideas that have the potential to improve student learning and ensure financial integrity of the District. Together as a department we work towards the ultimate goal of "Learning First."

Information Systems
Our mission is to foster educational excellence by developing, supporting, and maintaining highly effective, reliable, secure, and innovative information systems.
The Information Systems Department has many responsibilities, all of which are provided to help serve you. We are the ones who develop the computer software that you use to store information in the district administrative database, everything from ordering items from the district warehouse to recording daily leave for employees. We provide teacher grade book software to both elementary and secondary schools as well as software for the budget manager to track where money is being spent.
We administer the Outlook email system that employees use to communicate with other employees and colleagues, as well as other District computer systems that need to be backed up and available to the various users we support. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact us at 801-402-5600.
