Click on Settings > Notifications

Open the course, then click on the "View Course Notifications" button in the upper right corner of the screen. Choose to "Enable or Disable" notifications for the course. If notifications are enabled, choose how you would like to receive a notification for each of the Activities, Discussions, Scheduling and Conferences.
