    The Career and Technical Education Department is a valuable resource to students as they start on a career pathway. Programs are designed to include skills training that lead students to further educational opportunities and the career of their choice. The courses available include, Automotive, Health Sciences, Consumer Science, Culinary Arts, Child Care, Business, Marketing, Information Technology and Engineering. Students are encouraged to participate in the Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that corresponds with their pathway choices.  Links to the CTSO can be found on the left navigation bar of the home page.

    Partnerships with Northridge

    Concurrent Enrollment programs are partnerships with local colleges and universities. Northridge offers a number of courses from a variety of participating institutions. Students receive instruction from the Northridge teachers who are adjunct teachers with the participating institution. We are proud to be partners with Weber State University,Utah Valley Universtiy, Salt Lake Community College and the University of Utah (TICE) Program. Admission and registration fees are required. These concurrent enrollment courses are a great way to explore college work while still in high school.  We encourage your to take advantage of these opportunities.

    Off Campus Programs are available to students who are interested in internships, apprenticeships, and work based cooperative learning experiences. We also partner with the Davis Technology College and the Ogden Weber  Technology College for a variety of certified programs. Paul Mitchell and Avalon Schools of Beauty partner with Northridge to provide cosmetology opportunities for students.
