The said meetings of the Board of Education of Davis School District are held on the above listed dates commencing at 6 p.m. and continuing as long thereafter as business requires. Workshops will begin at 4 p.m. If any meeting falls on a legal holiday, the meeting will be canceled or rescheduled by the Board of Education and public notice will be given of such new meeting date.
Meetings will be held in the Auditorium at 45 E. State Street, Farmington, Utah, unless otherwise noted.

Public Comments to the Board
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
An approximately 30-minute comment period is scheduled at the beginning of regularly scheduled Board meetings. Each speaker will be allowed a maximum of 2 minutes. Participants must sign their name to the list prior to the start of the meeting. When recognized by the Presiding Board Member the participant will proceed to the podium.
Public hearing
Public hearings, i.e. tax hearings, boundary recommendations, budget hearings, are held as required by law. Participants must sign their name to the list prior to the start of the meeting. When recognized by the Presiding Board Member the participant will proceed to the podium.
Comment Box
Suggestion forms and a comment box will be available at all Board meetings and workshops. Contact information should be included if a response is needed from the Board.
Subject matter NOT allowed
- Comments concerning procurement of contracts, issues related to employment of individual personnel, criticism or defamation of District employees or Board members, or issues for which other avenues for appeal exist.
- Comments regarding individual student education issues such as disciplinary action, special education programming, extracurricular eligibility and selection, etc.
- Time may not be used by employees or their representatives to circumvent formal communication channels or established grievance or negotiation procedures.
Members of the Board and the superintendent may ask questions of any person who addresses the Board only upon approval of the Presiding Board Member. The Board is unable, by law, to deliberate or take action on items not on the agenda.
