Allison P. Riddle

Allison has been an elementary educator for 34 years. After teaching grades 3 and 5 for 26 years, Allison is currently coordinating Davis District's Elementary Induction and Teacher Academy School programs. Allison is the 2014 Utah Teacher of the Year and Davis District’s 2014 Teacher of the Year. Allison is a recipient of the 2015 Horace Mann Award for Teaching Excellence and a 2019 finalist for the National Teacher Hall of Fame. Allison is passionate about teacher leadership and shares her voice speaking to educators in and outside Utah, and she has written in the past for EdWeek and Education Post's Teacher Leader blog teams. Allison received her M.Ed from Weber State University in 2018 after completing her research on mentoring and teacher leadership.
