New Employee Training

Welcome to Davis School District! We are so excited to have you!

To begin, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the district homepage at www.davis.k12.ut.us
2. Click on the "Employees" tab
3. Click on "DSD Canvas"
4. Click on "Canvas Login"
5. Enter your district email for the username.  Your password is your first name with the first initial capitalized followed by your employee ID number - no spaces or dashes.  If your password is less than 8 characters, you will need to add 0s to the end until 8 characters are reached.
6. Hover your mouse over "Courses"
7. Select your course from the dropdown menu that appears
8. Click on "Modules"
9. Start from the top of the list and click on a lesson to view
10. Click on the video lesson to play
11. Click to enlarge the lesson to full screen size if desired.  Click again to minimize lesson size.
12. Click on "Next" to go to the next lesson segment or quiz.
13. After completion of each Module's quiz, click on "Grades" to see score received.
