Northern Utah Testing Center
Testing Center Policies:
- Photo ID required (can include school I.D.)
- Backpacks and purses are discouraged.
- Food, water and gum are not permitted.
- Mobile devices must be turned off and put away while testing. Unauthorized use of a mobile device in the Testing Center may result in termination of an assessment.
- It’s important to maintain a quiet testing environment. Talking must be limited.
- Leaving the Testing Center once a test has begun is only permitted in the event of an emergency.
- Calculators are permitted on a test by test basis.
- Return any testing materials (tests, scratch paper, borrowed pencils) to proctor when assessment is complete.
- Parent(s) and/or guardian(s) are not permitted in testing center while student is testing.
Testing Center Accommodations Policy:
Accommodations are provided for eligible students, as identified by an ELL, IEP, or 504 team. These accommodations should be consistent with accommodations provided during instruction throughout the instructional year.
- Please inform the Testing Center Coordinator if preparation is needed to administer the accommodation(s).
Academic Dishonesty:
We consider the following behaviors to be academically dishonest:
- Copying from another person's work.
- Allowing someone to copy from you.
- Using unauthorized materials.
- Taking an examination for another or permitting another to take an exam for you.
- Removing or attempting to remove a test, its answers, or any portion thereof from the Testing Center.
- Navigating away from your test.
