Testing Center Policies:

  • Photo ID required (can include school I.D.)
  • Backpacks and purses are discouraged.
  • Food, water and gum are not permitted.
  • Mobile devices must be turned off and put away while testing. Unauthorized use of a mobile device in the Testing Center may result in termination of an assessment.
  • It’s important to maintain a quiet testing environment. Talking must be limited.
  • Leaving the Testing Center once a test has begun is only permitted in the event of an emergency.
  • Calculators are permitted on a test by test basis.
  • Return any testing materials (tests, scratch paper, borrowed pencils) to proctor when assessment is complete.
  • Parent(s) and/or guardian(s) are not permitted in testing center while student is testing.

Testing Center Accommodations Policy:

Accommodations are provided for eligible students, as identified by an ELL, IEP, or 504 team. These accommodations should be consistent with accommodations provided during instruction throughout the instructional year.

  • Please inform the Testing Center Coordinator if preparation is needed to administer the accommodation(s).

Academic Dishonesty:

We consider the following behaviors to be academically dishonest:

  • Copying from another person's work.
  • Allowing someone to copy from you.
  • Using unauthorized materials.
  • Taking an examination for another or permitting another to take an exam for you.
  • Removing or attempting to remove a test, its answers, or any portion thereof from the Testing Center.
  • Navigating away from your test.
Individuals caught engaging in these behaviors may have their assessments terminated and school notified.
