Biography
John Zurbuchen, a 36-year educator, currently serves the Davis School District as an Assistant Superintendent. Previously, he functioned as the DSD Federal Programs Director, principal of Holt Elementary School and North Layton Junior High School as well as assistant principal at Fairfield and North Davis Junior High Schools. Mr. Zurbuchen has also worked as a K-12 principal in Wisconsin. An English and Social Studies teacher, he taught in schools in Minnesota, Montana, Washington and Utah. A Wisconsin native, he earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and Master’s Degree at Montana State University. He is married to Dr. Ann Schmitt and they have two daughters, Rudi, a second-year medical student at the University of Utah and Ellie, a senior at the U.
