Evaluate Davis Elementary Lecture Series

Our EDEL sessions are for teachers who have taught at least one full year. These professional learning sessions are highly engaging, interactive, and focused on best practices of instruction connected to our Evaluate Davis Standards and Indicators

The EDEL sessions offer new teachers a unique opportunity to reflect in a community of practice in a shared or independent learning space.

EDEL sessions are offered in two personalized settings:

Ready to Learn:  2 hour, in-person session with colleagues including modeled strategies, interactive discussions, hands-on activities, guided reflection, and take-a-ways. For those who want the shared learner experience.

Ready to Demonstrate Competency:  1 hour remote session followed by a submission of video evidence and reflective analysis of practice. For those who feel they're ready to demonstrate specific competencies related to that month's topic.

Teachers must complete eight sessions over the course of two years. They can self-select the order and setting in which they complete each session.
