Lagoon Employee Appreciation
Please join us on Friday, April 26, 2019, for Davis School District's Employee Appreciation Night at Lagoon from 5 to 10 p.m.
The park will be open EXCLUSIVELY to DSD employees and their families.
Admission costs $20 per person and includes your park ticket, parking, and an all-you-can-eat dinner.
The Backyard Barbecue includes quarter-pound hamburgers, hot dogs, potato chips, sliced cheese, condiments, country-style potato salad, frosted raspberry parfait Jello and fountain soft drinks (Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, lemonade).
Please note that season passports are not valid on this evening.
However, as an added bonus, Lagoon will upgrade your passport to a 2019 Season Passport for the entire season, including Frightmares, for an additional $85 plus tax. Offer good for the day of the event only.
- What about my younger children?
Three and under are free UNLESS they are riding the attractions. If they ride, they must have a ticket. This is the same policy Lagoon enforces during public hours at the park.
- How do I get into the parking entrance?
Free Parking (no special ticket is needed the gates will be open).
- What time is the barbecue?
Unlimited buffet from 6-8 p.m.
- Which attractions will be open?
All rides and regular attractions — except Lagoon A Beach, Pioneer Village and organized park entertainment — will be open and available. X-Venture Zone Attractions (Skycoaster tower, Catapult and Double Thunder Raceway track) are scheduled to be open for which additional payment will be required from individual guests utilizing these attractions. Rides and attractions may close due to weather conditions (rain, wind, or thunderstorms), required maintenance or repair, or other causes.
- I have a season pass, why do I still need to pay $20?
Season passes are not valid for this event. The park is not open to the general public and season passes are not valid. If you purchased a season pass prior to this event, Lagoon will not make adjustments to the price of your pass. Please note that the price of pass will be higher because of the corporate and district supplement to the pass.
- Do we have to eat the barbecue?
You are welcome to bring food into the park.
- I don't want to purchase my tickets online.
If you do not wish to use the online process to purchase your tickets, you can purchase tickets in person April 22-25 at the District Office, location to be determined.
- Can I purchase my tickets at the gate?
No. Tickets can be purchased through the online process or in-person April 22-25.
- What if the weather closes the park?
If there is inclement weather, the event will be moved to Friday, May 3rd. If weather does not cooperate for the 3rd of May, the ride passes will be valid through the 15th of June.
- The name on the card is not my name. When I go to pick up the tickets they will be under the name on the card, so how do I prove I purchased them?
Please bring your receipt with you when you pick up the tickets.
- Can we buy tickets for extended family?
The district has decided to allow each employee to define what constitutes their family. We ask that you use your best judgement and considerate of the event being exclusive to our employees and their families. The tickets should NOT be purchased for neighbors and friends.
- Is there a limit to the number of family members I can bring?
- Is there a senior citizen discount?
No, there is no additional discount to senior passes.
