Welcome to Mrs. Newbold's Homepage!
Danielle Newbold's 3rd Grade Class
I come from a big family and am the oldest of seven children; three boys and four girls. Growing up, I enjoyed playing with and helping take care of my siblings, dancing, singing, softball, basketball, driving tractors, and feeding calves! I lived in Hooper on a dairy farm until I was nine which is when my family moved to West Point. My family still farms some and it is still always fun to go help my dad bail hay.
My husband and I have three children: one boy in junior high and two girls; a feisty three year old and a tiny, sweet one year old. We love playing with our cats, Ben and Ricky, going on walks, playing tea party, having movie nights, and Super Nintendo competitions.
I am a product of Davis School District schools and graduated from Clearfield High in 1999. I come from a long line of educators and love everything about elementary! I have been in education for the past 16 years; six of those years teaching 3rd grade. I have done everything from tutoring, prep time, substituting to district work training teachers. In every capacity I've worked in, there is one thing that has always been the same: I loved every minute of it! This is my second year in administration and I have found this to be a great adventure. I adore my schools, including the people and children in them. I am looking forward to this year and to being not only a Snow Horse Colt, but also a Holbrook Husky!
