District announces Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest Winners

Davis School District celebrated its 15th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest.

Each year, hundreds of students participate at the school level and this year, 85 advanced to the final round at the district offices in a two-day competition.

After selecting, preparing and memorizing a 1-3 minute excerpt of one of Dr. King’s speeches, students deliver their speeches to a panel of judges made up of current and former teachers.
