Martin Luther King Jr. speech contest winners

For approximately 18 years and as part of Davis School District's annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. speech contest, selected winners present their speeches to the Davis School District Board of Education. The board is always honored to hear these students recite an MLK speech of their choosing during a regular board meeting as a way to honor the student's accomplishments.

"Proud to be maladjusted," recited by Blithe Bigelow, an 11th grade student from Farmington High School.

"Our God is marching on," recited by Kenyon Bell, a ninth grade student from Centennial Junior High School.

"What is your life's blueprint?" recited by Marlie Buys, a fifth grade student from Odyssey Elementary.
