District announces Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest Winners

The Davis School District celebrated its 16th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest.

Each year, hundreds of students participate at the school level the top students in their respective age groups advanced to the final round at the district offices in a two-day competition.

After selecting, preparing and memorizing a 1-3 minute excerpt of one of Dr. King’s speeches, students deliver their speeches to a panel of judges made up of current and former teachers.
