Integrated Educational Therapists (IETs)
About Us
Integrated Educational Therapists provide counseling and support services to students in schools across the district.
- Individual evidence based therapeutic intervention:
- CBT, DBT, Solution focused, strengths based, empowerment, play therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, self-care strategies
- Therapy services include treatment of the following:
- Anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, substance abuse, family issues, gender identity, behavior issues, eating disorders, and other
- Facilitate therapeutic group, in school for:
- Anxiety, depression, empowerment, and social skills
- Assessment, crisis intervention, and safety planning with at-risk students
- Collaboration and facilitation with school district employees and departments, faculty, and supportive staff
- Advocating for students' needs with school facility and outside resources
- Maintain client confidentiality policies, mandatory reporting, and FERPA guidelines
