Schools continue on hybrid schedule

Yes, school is back in session in the Davis School District. However, things look a little different this year in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Students are attending on an alternating-day schedule. But even with only half of the students heading to school buildings each day, those motoring the highways and byways of Davis County, are still reminded to be on the lookout for our students and adhere to school zone speed limits.

The alternating schedule is currently outlined for the next four weeks of the term. The district will update the calendar to reflect any changes and add additional weeks as needed. Please note that due to the windstorm and cancellation of school Tuesday and Wednesday, Group 1 (students with last names beginning with A-K) will attend a full day on Friday, Sept. 11.

In a related note, the school district will continue to share information with you as it comes available and utilize the COVID-19 webpage as a way to provide additional resources.
