Goals for all Social studies courses are the same: teachers administer a minimum of two constructed response questions (CRQs) each term to assess student learning. CRQs are constructed to be worth 8 points. Teachers set learning targets, in terms of class average scores, for each of their classes. If the same CRQ is used in both an honors and traditional course the learning targets may not be the same. Alternatively, a teacher could opt to adapt a CRQ for one class or another.
The specific language of the goals and full description is here.
This document may help teachers and administrators in understanding how to implement the goals.
