The Primary Advanced Learners (PAL) Program is designed for identified high-ability students in 1st through 3rd grades.  In 1st & 2nd grades, our program is designed to have the teacher loop with their class so the students have the same teacher for two years.  PAL classes are available at Bountiful, Kaysville and Mountain View Elementary schools.

EXCEL

EXCEL classes are designed to provide before and/or after school enrichment opportunities for students.  Classes are most often taught by certified teachers at the school who want to share their expertise in a particular area.  Classified staff or Paraprofessional staff, with approval from the principal, could teach these classes but would need to complete an application with Human Resources which requires both a background check and fingerprinting. Schools may design their own curriculum for the class or take advantage of the variety of instructional programs available through the district.  The duration of the class is determined by the local school
