Early Intervention is a family centered teaching program where staff and families of children with developmental delays, birth to 36 months, work together to help children grow and develop. Motor and speech specialist, developmental specialists, nurses and social workers provide Early Intervention services at family homes, childcare centers or hospitals.
Community Preschool provides preschool education for children 3-5 years of age. It is a tuition-based program with classes focusing on developmental appropriate practices. This year we are offering a scholarship for FREE preschool to children who are eligible for free or reduced lunch.
Preschool Special Education serves children with disabilities 3 to 5 years of age. The majority of children are served in regular preschool classrooms with typically developing peers. Additional service options may include self-contained classes, home-based talking-time, home-hospital, etc. Services are based on the goals included in each child’s Individual Education Program (IEP).
Headstart/Early Headstart and Title I Preschool is a federally funded comprehensive program that promotes healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women and enhances the development of infants and children three or four years old on or before September 1. Services are offered at no charge for income qualifying families.
