I was born in Layton, Utah. I am a proud graduate from Northridge High School. After graduating from Weber State University with a degree in Choral Education, I was lucky enough to get my dream job teaching choir at Northridge, my alma-mater. I have been heavily involved with music since I was five years old. I play the piano, flute and piccolo and I love to sing. I have taken private vocal lessons from instructors at Weber State University and Brigham Young University.  I starting teaching music when I was 16. I have taught private piano and voice lessons, but I discovered my love is teaching large groups.

I have a wonderful husband and two year old daughter. We love to travel together, play games and read.

I have a strong passion for musical theater. I have participated in nine musical theater productions as an actress or in the pit orchestra. I have also been the musical director of six productions including Guys and Dolls, Aida, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserable, Scarlet Pimpernel and The Drowsy Chaperone. I have been teaching at Northridge for four years.
