Meadowbrook Elementary is in need of parent members for our community council for the 2016-2017 school year.
What is a School Community Council?
A School Community Council is an advisory committee with communication connections between school and community.
What does the School Community Council do?
The School Community Council helps assist in the development of school improvement plans and how the School Trust Land money should be used. The council may advise and make recommendations on school programs and also help student safety and routing plans.
Who is on the School Community Council?
The council consists of members of the administration/faculty/staff and members of the community.
If you are interested come in or call the office 801-402-1600. Nominations will be open the weeks of Sep.1-30. We will have voting for new council members at our first meeting on Oct 13 at 4:30. Please nominate or volunteer. Our first meeting will be on Oct 6 at 4.
