Ms. Mason is a 1993 graduate of The University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Education.

Following graduation, she moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina, where she taught grades 8-12 at The Fayetteville Academy for two years. During that time her first child, a son, was born.
She then taught teenagers and adults Conversational English in Seoul, South Korea, and there her second child, a daughter, was born. Following their stint in South Korea, the Masons moved back to Montana where Ms. Mason worked mainly in the field of Child-Rearing.

In 2001, Ms. Mason went to work for The University of Montana - Helena College of Technology. The work was mainly part-time, so when Ms. Mason wanted to start working full-time, she moved to a charming town called Lincoln, which is in the mountains about 60 miles northwest of Helena, Montana and holds about 1200 residents at peak season. She taught there for two years grades 7-12.

Today Ms. Mason teaches CTE, Intro to 7th graders, Computer Technology and Word Processing to 9th graders and Keyboarding to grades 7 and 8. She loves Utah, and in particular loves living and working in West Point! Favorite activities include spending time with her kids, swimming, skiing, taking care of her home, and her goals for the future include graduating with a master's degree in Instructional Technology in May 2010!
