  •   cans of food A HUGE Thank you to all of those who participated in our annual food drive.  With all your help Davis High was able to fill Mountain Highs food pantry and then send two trucks full of food to Sunset Jr. High.  Mountain High had no more room and had heard that Sunset Jr. wanted to start a food pantry for their students so we sent the two extra truck loads to them.

Our grand total of non-perishable food items is 13,072, with

Mr. Henriods class coming in first place with 4,727 items.

Mr. Sanders class in second place with 1,003 items and

Ms. Brough class in third place with 834 items.

Our honorary award goes to Ms. Leedy with 1174 items because she didn’t have a second period class but had her students donate anyway.   Leedy breakfast will be served December 12th, during 2nd period…….

For those listed we will come and escort your class December 12th during 2nd period.  THANK YOU, YOU ALL MAKE OUR COMMUNITY A BETTER PLACE TO BE.

Alive@25 Defensive Driving Course will be held at Davis High on Monday, November 24, 2014.   This 4 hour course is taught by an instructor from the Utah Safety Council.  This cost of the class is $30.00 and will clear 2 U's in citizenship and will restore 50 points to your driving record.   See Mrs. Gale in the office to sign up.
