  • Sub for Santa fundraiser.

    We have raised $10,701.57 for our Sub for Santa fundraiser to help the homeless students of Davis School District.  Our goal is $18,000. 


    The current standings in the battle of the classes is: in third place - the Sophomores with 257,148 points. In second place - the Juniors with 265,338 points. In first place- the Seniors with 408,582 pointsToday is a triple positive point day. Money can be donated during lunch or to your class officers and committee members.


    Sub for Santa donations can also be made online through the Davis Foundation.  Choose Davis Sub for Santa if donating online.  



    Do you hate parking on main street everyday and trekking through the icy tundra to get to school?  Are you theflower last person at school and get the worst parking space in south end?  We have a deal for you! A prime faculty parking spot can be yours December 15th through the 19th.  A silent auction will be held next week during lunch. Minimum bid is $15. See a SBO to bid for your parking spot.

    Fiiz Sub for Santa night will be Friday, December 19th.  Go to Fiiz and tell them you are with Davis High when you pay for your order. Fiiz will donate a portion of their sales that night to Sub for Santa.
    The Davis High VEX Robotics team competed in a regional competition on Saturday and came away with  first, second and third place trophies. Team StarFox won the Excellence award for winning all possible awards at the competition. In First place was Isaac Froisland, Adam Johnson, Cooper Gray, Amanda Trang, Ammon Ethington, and Josh Day. In second  was Kyle Hilton, Ryan Cook,  Josh Anderl, Ben Larsen, Tanner Standing, Alec King, and Quinn Gale. In third was Quinn Evans, Nick Saunders, Daniel Zubeldia, and Adam Johnson. Good job teams!!

  • Talent Assembly auditions will be held Tuesday 13 January and Thursday 15 January after school. Sign up times will be available on Monday 5 January in room 2803.  The talent assembly will be Wednesday January 28th.


    Anyone interested in playing with the Davis High Boys Volleyball Club must come to a brief Meeting January 15th at 2:30 in room 1318.  Practices will start January 22nd, 2015.  All practices will be Thursday Nights at Davis in the main gym. 7-9pm.
    U make-up classes are scheduled for Thursday December 18th.  All U's must be cleared to participate in sports or extra-curricular activities.  The fee for the class is $5.00 and should be paid before the class.   Please see Mrs. Gale in the office to sign up.

    Basketball over the break: Girls basketball play Bonneville at home on Tuesday December 30th at 12:45 pm.  Girls and boys basketball teams both play on Saturday January 3rd. The girls will play at Weber High at 2:15.  Boys are at home against Weber High at 7:00pm. 
    Beginning Tuesday December 16th, Class of 2015 senior t-shirts will be sold in the commons for $10 at lunch. See any senior officer, committee member, or Ms. Anderson for more information.
    The Boys Basketball team is selling mob shirts for $10 starting next week.  Pay for the shirt in the main office and then bring your receipt to Coach Sims. He can be found in the A building on A days and in the gym on B days.

    Do you have a teacher you feel has changed your life?  If so, please submit your nomination for the PTA Teacher of the Year, in a box set up for nominations in the office, until December 18th. Please give your contact information so you may be reached to help give your opinion and complete the application. The winning teacher will be chosen by a board of parents and may go on to be the Teacher of the Year for the whole state of Utah.

  • Microsoft Office Student Advantage Plan
    Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2013 Microsoft is now offering a free Microsoft Office subscription to our students as part of their District Office 365 account. This subscription allows students to install a full version of the Microsoft Office 2013 software at home on up to 5 devices. Software versions include Office 2013 for PC, Office 2011 for Mac, and Office Mobile for iPhone or Android.
