  •  Missing Assignments Notifiation
We have added the ability for students and guardians to receive notification of “Missing Assignments” from the myDSD Mobile App.  When a student receives a missing assignment in the Grade Book, the app will send a text to the student and/or guardian.

They must already have downloaded the myDSD app from the app store on their device.  Once they have the app, they will be asked to log in.  Once they log in, they need to tap on Settings from within the app.  They can then select the items they would like notifications about, see below:

When done, they should click Save.  They will begin to get text message notifications for all the items they selected

The I-15 South Davis Improvements Project will:  Add ExpressLanes in both directions from the north I-215 interchange to U.S. 89 in Farmington.  Replace aging bridges at 2600 South, 1500 South, 500 South, and 400 North.  Reconfigure the interchanges at 2600 South and 500 South in Bountiful to improve east/west mobility.

Improve active transportation with better pedestrian facilities at 500 South, 400 North and Parrish Lane.

I-15 construction is expected to complete in December 2014 with interchange and bridge construction continuing through summer 2015. Area motorists can expect some congestion throughout the project corridor. Area residents can expect additional noise, light and some nighttime work.   Should you have any questions, please feel free to call anytime - 801.336.6977 - we’re here to help keep everyone informed. • Keyboarding Techniques

Students need to sit up in their chairs with their backs against the chairs.   Fingers on the home row letters.   Feet must be down out of their chairs and should be in front of them.   Students should be looking at their monitors not their hands if they are keyboarding from the computer.   Eyes on copy if they are keyboarding from a booklet or a document.

District goals for keyboarding for the end of the school year:
3rd grade is 15 WPM or above   4th grade is 20 WPM or above
5th grade is 24 WPM or above   6th grade is 27 WPM or above
Accuracy should be 95% or above.
