    Red Ribbon Week October 17 – 19th

Please help us by encouraging your children to participate by:

Monday October 17th Everyone Wear Red to school to show your support!!

Tuesday October 18th Wear a Super Hero shirt or Favorite Team shirt

Because Super Heroes say “NO” to drugs, bullying and underage drinking!!

Wednesday October 19th During lunch recess we will have a display of the effects that tobacco products have on our body!!

Each student will be given a Red wristband on Monday. We would like the students to keep them on all week as a reminder to “say NO to drugs”, “say NO to underage drinking”, “say NO to bullying”.

Look for a Red Ribbon Fact Sheet that will be coming home with your student. We have gathered some facts and info together so that you might be able to talk with your students about these issues. We will also have a link on our school website for the fact sheet. Please take some time to talk with your student about these issues and the effects they have.

Article Circle was kind enough to donate an ice cream cone for each student!! Which makes for a great time to chat with your kids!!

There will also be prizes during the week for those who participate.
