Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are not able to attend our Attendance Reward Movie on Friday, May 29th as previously planned. This change has been necessary because of local and State School Board’s desires to not have any instructional time used for a movie reward-based activity. We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your family.
However, we want to provide this promised activity for our students at Lincoln Elementary. The theater has been great to work with us, and has offered to have us attend on Friday, June 5th. We are extremely grateful to the theater in helping us with this situation. Those students who have earned the reward will need to meet at the school at 8:25 a.m. in order to leave by 8:30. Please do not drop your students off at the theater as we want to provide your student adequate supervision during this experience. Please plan on picking your student up at the school at 11:30 a.m. No breakfast or lunch will be served that day. Because this is not a regular school day, the school will not be open during this time.
Thanks again for your understanding in this matter. We hope it is fun and rewarding for your student.
On Friday, May 29th all of our students need to be to the school by 8:25. WE ARE LEAVING AT 8:30am! We will be walking to the AMC Theater for our attendance movie. The students will be returning to Lincoln directly after the movie to continue their classes. School will dismiss at 1:25pm. We are excited to provide this opportunity with the students who have made being at school a priority. A special thanks to AMC for their help!
