  • School Fundraiser - Sept 1-15

      Fundraiser  

    The school is raising money to help grow, improve, and update the technology in the building.  Similar to last year, you can donate to the school in the main office or online at www.dsddonate.org.  Those who would like to promote literacy in the home can also decide to purchase/renew a magazine subscription.  Click here for more details.  Thank you for your support!!!

  • Save Those Box Tops!
     Box Top  
     Farmington Elementary collects Box Tops for Education to bring more money into the school.  Last year almost $1,500 was raised and used to pay for iPads, accessories, and other items for the teachers.  This year Box Tops will be used similarly.  If you have saved Box Tops please send them to the classroom teacher by Sept. 25th.

    The country will celebrate Labor Day on Sept. 7th.  Because it is a federal holiday there will be no school that day.  Enjoy your long weekend!

    Its been a great year! Thank you for all your support this year!  We are already looking towards next year for PTA help. The PTA is still looking to fill some positions on their general board and for certain activities.  Please consider helping out. Click here to see how you can help.

  • Student Educational Plan Conferences

     SEP conferences are held twice each school year.  This year SEP conferences will held November 9-13 and February 1-5.  These conferences are scheduled for every student. During SEP conference week students are dismissed at 1:25 p.m. each day.  Additionally, optional parent teacher consultations will be held on March 16.  Consultations are scheduled at the request of a teacher or parent.

  • Microsoft Office Student Advantage Plan
     
    Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2013 Microsoft is now offering a free Microsoft Office subscription to our students as part of their District Office 365 account. This subscription allows students to install a full version of the Microsoft Office 2013 software at home on up to 5 devices. Software versions include Office 2013 for PC, Office 2011 for Mac, and Office Mobile for iPhone or Android.
