  • Layton City Police Department is offering radKIDS again this summer.  It is a FREE child safety and empowerment course.  This program has been taught by Layton City School Resource Officers for the past four years and we have an increased interest and demand.  The age group for this course is 7-12 years of age.   For those who are not familiar with the radKIDS program, you can view their webpage at www.radkids.org

The course focuses on child safety and has many topics.  A large portion of the class involves student participation in learning how to physically resist an abduction.

The course will be taught at 11 different elementary schools during the summer.  If you are interested in enrolling your student(s) in this class please logon to the webpage below and register on the Layton City’s webpage for the radKIDS program.   The course is free and in high demand but the class sizes are limited.

  • In the interest of helping students to succeed and make the most of the taxpayer's investment in our schools, Davis Education Foundation, in cooperation with Davis School District, is refurbishing computers that would be sold as salvage and making them available to students who would not otherwise have access to a computer in their home.  While these systems are certainly not state-of-the-art, they will meet the needs for most students  at home.  We have a limited number of these computers and, therefore, wish to award them to students who have the greatest need and would make the best use of the gift.  Please do not apply if you already have a working computer in your home.  To be considered for one of these systems, complete the following application and return it to your principal.
