Welcome to the Davis School District's
Risk Management & Safety Compliance page.
It is our policy to provide a safe, healthy,
and accident-free environment for everyone. However, excellent safe and
healthy conditions do not occur by chance. They are the result of diligent
work and careful attention to all District policies by everyone.
Our safety and health program has been developed
to assure this District's compliance with Federal
, State , and local regulations
with an emphasis on the Utah Occupational Safety and Health standards and
Utah State Risk Managementguidelines
as they apply to our operations. Safety demands cooperation on everyone's
part. Thus, it is important that communications be kept open at all times.
Employees who notice hazards or other safety problems, or feel they need
additional training , must notify management. Management must address these
concerns and take corrective action when warranted. It is also the duty
of employees to perform their work with maximum regard for the safety of
themselves, co-workers, and students.
